The New Pathways Brain Health Fair offered free baseline memory screenings provided by Nevada Senior Services’ staff and physicians from the UNLV School of Medicine.

In addition, the Brain Health Fair had resources for senior wellness initiatives, interactive brain activities, healthy “brain food," and caregiver education, support and respite opportunities.

Presenters at the Brain Health Fair included author and advocate Nancy Nelson, a woman living with early memory loss, and professional dancer, Michelle Thomson, who teaches “Brain Dance” a movement program to stimulate the brain.

In addition to Sponsors Nevada Senior Services and AARP Nevada, collaborating agencies include UNLV School of Medicine, Nevada Aging and Disabilities Services Division, and Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
