A local boy's wish came true when he was made an honorary member of the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team today.
8-year-old Gavin was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year.
Gavin will be watching the Golden Knights warm up tonight before the game from the team's bench and he'll get to stand with them during the national anthem.
Gavin geared up and skated with the team earlier today. In addition, the team surprised him with a trip to DisneyWorld.
The team is playing the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night.
The wishes were made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
