The Kingman Police Department received an anonymous tip on Friday about a grenade buried in the ground at the 2100 block of Hearne Avenue, near Stockton Hill Road and Northern Avenue.
Mohave County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to the scene to confirm the tip. Afterward, the Kingman Police Bomb Squad responded to safely remove and dispose of the grenade.
The area has been rendered safe by all responding officers.
