Donner had been allegedly three times over the legal limit for alcohol when the crash occurred Sept. 5 near Charleston Boulevard and Main Street. His BMW crashed with a tour bus that was heading to the Grand Canyon.
Tour diver Jose Francisco Cosenza was killed as was German tourist Rolf Kloeppel of Meckenbeuren, Germany. Kloeppel's wife, Stefanie Kloeppel, and Brian Zerbee and Sara Zerbee from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Donner had been hospitalized since the crash and had missed two previous court appearances since he was still in the hospital.
