Officials are investigating the cause of a vacant house fire at 3800 block of Budlong Avenue, near Charleston Boulevard and Pecos Road.
Investigators believe the fire started around 1:17 a.m. Tuesday inside the house, then spread to the backyard.

The exact cause is undetermined, but neighbors say they spotted squatters going in and out of the home on a regular basis.
Some paperwork in a front window of the home was posted by a property preservation company, who essentially protect and preserve vacant properties.
Damage is estimated at $75,000. No injuries were reported.
