Severe turbulence forced an Allegiant flight to make an emergency landing on Thursday.
It happened on a flight to Punta Cana from Pittsburgh. The plane encountered turbulence over the Bahamas and was forced to land in Florida.
137 passengers and 6 crew members were on board. 7 people were injured. None of the injuries were life threatening.
The incident comes at a time when Allegiant Air is under major scrutiny. Hundreds of pilots have threatened to quit saying the airline cuts corners and overworks its staff.
