Access to healthcare from Nevada Health Centers’ mobile programs

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Health Centers has three mobile programs that improve access to healthcare by bringing care to neighborhoods.

This work is continuing during the COVID-19 pandemic and during the holidays.

Pre-screening for any COVID-19 related symptoms will occur prior to entering any of the mobile program vehicles.

All three programs are open this week and have appointments available. Staying healthy is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, operated in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas, provides dental care to children up to age 21. Call 1.800.787.2568 to make an appointment. Locations this week:

2. The Mammovan is celebrating 20 years of providing mammography screenings. Yearly screenings for women age 40 and older are very important. Call 877.581.6266, option 1 for an appointment. Mammovan locations this week:

3. The Nevada Children’s Health Project (NCHP) provides care to infants, children and youth up to age 21. We serve at-risk youth with a special focus on the homeless, disenfranchised and those facing poverty. Call 1.800.787.2568 to make an appointment. Locations this week:
