According to the Nevada Department of Corrections, inmate Janine Hillman died at the Valley Hospital Medical Center on October 30 around 4:30 p.m.
The 85-year-old female was serving two life sentences for 1st-degree murder, robbery, use of a deadly weapon, and forgery.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death. The next of kin have been notified.
