North Las Vegas police reported a 5-vehicle crash at the intersection of Commerce Street and Carey Avenue on Monday.
The collision occurred around 10:20 a.m. Officials believe it was caused by speed, as well as a failure to yield on a red light.
One of the vehicles involved was a scooter. Another vehicle rolled over during the crash.
Six people were transported to the hospital. Their injuries vary from minor to critical.

The intersection is closed while police investigate the crash. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
