LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — More Nevadans are registering to vote ahead of the November election.
36,000 new voters registered last month alone.
The secretary of state says Republicans added more voters to their rolls than Democrats. A majority of people registered as unaffiliated voters.
Statewide, Democrats make up 38% of active voters, Republicans make up 33%, and nonpartisan voters account for 23%.
More than 1.6 million people are registered to vote in Nevada.
