2 years later, family still seeks closure in deadly party shooting

On July 28, 2014 around 12:35 a.m. police received multiple calls reporting that a person had been shot in the 8800 block of Barium Rock Avenue.
Patrol officers responded and located 19-year-old Morland Richeyelder who appeared to have suffered from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the 
The preliminary investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicates there was a large house party with approximately 70 people in attendance at a residence.
During the evening, Richeyelder left the party and later returned prior to the shooting. Evidence at the scene suggests that Richeyelder was shot outside near the driveway of the residence and fled the attacker by running through the party and into the backyard where he collapsed.
Guests of the party carried Richeyelder to a vehicle to get him to the hospital when officers arrived.
