A child under the age of 5 has died in Clark County because of the flu, according to the Southern Nevada Health District.
The agency is also reporting an additional flu-related death in a female over the age of 50.
The first two deaths, both males over the age of 60, were reported shortly before Christmas.
The health district will not be releasing any additional information regarding the deceased. The health district says that flu season typically peaks in January and February and there is still time to receive a flu vaccine.
