The family of 1 October survivor Tina Frost says she walked out of her rehab hospital last week.

Frost was shot in the head at the Route 91 festival, and is now home in Maryland.

On a GoFundMe page that's raised more than $600,000, her family says she'll have several days off from doctors, allowing her to enjoy her family, friends and some normalcy.

"It's going to be such a long road, but we are in it for the long haul because she has made it through this far," said Mary Watson Moreland, Frost's mother.

Frost, a 27-year-old accountant, was at the country concert with her longtime boyfriend.

She was shot in the forehead and ended up in coma for nearly two weeks.

"When they said she got shot I was like I'm sure she'll be fine, but then they said she was in a coma and not breathing," said Randi Moreland, Frost's cousin.

The family says leaving the hospital on her own is a huge milestone for Frost.

She will continue therapies as an outpatient.
