LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An upcoming event focusing on assisting veterans and military personnel will take place at Veterans Village later this month.

A U.S. veteran job and resource fair is scheduled for March 22 at Veterans Village 2, located at 50 N. 21st Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will feature over 30 participating employers and veterans service organizations, according to a news release.

The Southern Nevada Congressional Delegation will be presenting the fair that will allow veterans the opportunity to connect with resources available to them within the community.

“We must do everything we can to support our heroes after they integrate into civilian life, we’re honored to partner with the Southern Nevada Congressional Delegation and host this event to facilitate this veteran’s outreach for community engagement,” said Dr. Arnold Stalk, Ph. D, founder of Veterans Village Las Vegas.

Available resources at the event will include healthcare, veterans claims services, education benefits, job placement/employment services, housing, social services, food pantry, hygiene supplies, and health and beauty services.

Representatives of programs such as Salvation Army Veteran Services, Nevada Health Link, Nevada Senior Services and others will also be attendance.

The fair is a free event and available to all United States veterans and active duty military personnel.
