13 Action News put the big dollar stores to the test to see which one has the most bang for the buck.
We compared the big three -- Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Family Dollar.
Although inflation has had an effect on some "dollar" stores, that's not the case at Dollar Tree.
Everything there is still a buck but there is a catch.
Many things come in tiny packages and lot of the products are generic.
Family Dollar was the cheapest overall of the 3 stores. Dollar Tree was next and Dollar General was the most expensive.
But, all of there were cheaper than big box stores.
