The only known sculpture by Leonardo da Vinci still in existence is returning to Las Vegas and it will be on display for one day only at Red Rock Resort.
"Horse and Rider," which was recently appraised for $35 million, was on display for 30 days in Milan, Italy.
The statue will be on display in the hotel rotunda area, directly upstairs from the hotel lobby, from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 5.
The history of the artwork is fascinating, having passed from several prestigious European collections to being saved from Nazi looting during World War II.
There is information at this time of any future public displays. According to its co-owner, it will reside in a vault for now.
