Thousands of local seniors age 62 and over have relied on NV Energy’s Senior Energy Assistance Expo to apply for and receive Project REACH bill assistance that is administered by United Way.
This year, due to safety concerns related to COVID-19, NV Energy cannot hold an in-person event and is instead, holding the Senior Expo via telephone.
Seniors can call NV Energy directly anytime between July 14 and July 18 to speak with a customer service representative who will help them apply for up to $150 in bill assistance and provide them with details on other programs that can save them energy and money.
Before they call, seniors are asked to complete a short form and provide their income qualification documents via email or by dropping them off at NV Energy.
