Celebrating Labor Day in Las Vegas is the thing to do. Check out these events and specials around town.

Cabo Wabo Cantina
Take a load off this Labor Day weekend at Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, with live music, patio parties and a hangover breakfast from Friday, Sept. 2, through Monday, Sept. 5. When you want a break from the epic patio parties, featuring surprise DJs and daily Dos Equis beer bucket specials, guests will also be able to enjoy Cabo’s new “Half-Off Happy Hour,” available from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The special includes half-off all appetizers, house margaritas, sangria, draft beer and shots of Cabo Wabo tequila. 

Hungry Howie's
All weekend long, (Sept. 3-5) customers can purchase a medium one topping pizza for just 5 cents when they buy a large pizza with one or more toppings! For context, Hungry Howie’s is known as the originator of the Flavored Crust pizza and provides delicious and innovative crust options ranging from Cajun to garlic herb.

Bass Pro Shops presents free family activities at Hometown Festival
Bass Pro Shops is providing family fun Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4 at participating Bass Pro Shops locations across the U.S. and Canada. The event features free family activities and seminars. September 3-4, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.

Minus5 Ice Bar
In honor of the holiday, guests are invited to cool off at the “coolest” bar in Las Vegas. With purchase of entry, all guests 21 years of age or older will receive a complimentary house shot to commemorate the occasion.

Metalcore band Killswitch Engage have made a name for themselves with their heart-stopping combination of sophistication and brutality. At their live shows, the band lays out a riff-heavy onslaught of guitars combined with dynamic vocals that range from bloodcurdling shrieks to low-pitch death growls as they pummel through tracks like "My Curse" and "Holy Diver." Tickets start at $25.00.
 
Having sold over four million tickets to concerts that have taken place in 35 countries, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is rightfully hailed as one of the most in demand touring entities currently operating.
 
Formed in late 1994, Smash Mouth began recording demos and showcasing in both San Jose and Hollywood, Calif. In June 1997, Smash Mouth signed to Interscope Records when label brass caught wind of an unknown (and unsigned) band being added to L.A. radio station KROQ’s playlist after only one spin of their song “Walkin’ on the Sun.” Fremont Street Experience, 9 p.m.
 
Mariah Carey, the best-selling female artist of all time, is headlining residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She will perform all 18 of her timeless and beloved hits.
 
Air Supply is an Australian soft rock duo, consisting of British-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock. They had a succession of hits worldwide, including eight Top Ten hits in the United States, in the early 1980s. They formed in Australia in 1975 and have included various accompanying musicians and singers.
 
Critics have hailed global superstar and multi-platinum artist Britney Spears' spectacular Las Vegas residency show Piece of Me at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood as one of the best productions to hit the strip in years. Britney's skills are on full display as she and a crew of fierce backup dancers strut their stuff amid some of the most dazzling sets in Sin City.
 
Billy Idol takes the stage along with Steve Stevens and his band at the intimate House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay for his first-ever multi-date residency with show dates in March, May, August, September and October.

Bill Maher is a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, media critic, and television host. As a television host, he is well known for the HBO political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher (2003–present). Maher previously hosted a similar late-night show called Politically Incorrect, originally on Comedy Central and later on ABC.
