Las Vegas police are investigating a body that was found off of U.S. 95, behind a sound wall between Craig and Lone Mountain roads.
Arriving officers located an adult male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The preliminary investigation initiated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Section indicated the male had possibly been shot where his body was found. No suspect or suspects have been identified and the motive is unknown.
This is the 123rd homicide investigated by the LVMPD in 2015. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s fffice.
