Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting in the 200 block of West Boston Avenue near the Stratosphere.
Officers say they're searching for two suspects.
Police said the shooting likely was a part of some kind of burglary in an alleyway across from the 7-Eleven near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.
The male victim was shot twice, once in the ankle and once in the head. The man's injuries were non-life-threatening and he was taken to UMC Trauma.
Police say he managed to take the gun from the suspects and get to the 7-Eleven to ask the clerk to call for help.
Police has the gun to work with as evidence.
