Las Vegas breaking news for November 17, 2017

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for November 17, 2017.

7:15 P.M.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue are battling a 2-alarm brush fire in the 1400 block of Industrial Road near West Charleston Boulevard and the I-15. No buildings are involved at this time, but high winds are fanning the flames. No injuries are reported at this time.

5:30 A.M.

Police are investigating a stabbing that happened this morning near Sunrise and 21st Street. It is believed to be domestic related. A suspect is in custody and the victim is uncooperative at this time. The investigation is ongoing. 

1:33 A.M.

An unidentified 52-year-old was hit by a car in Nye County and pronounced dead at the scene.  READ MORE

OVERNIGHT

One person is dead after a crash in a roundabout on Town Center Drive in Summerlin. Two people were in the car when the driver failed to make a turn and hit tree. The passenger was killed and the driver was transported to a local hospital. Police believe alcohol may have been involved. The crash happened shortly before midnight.
