UPDATE AUG. 22: Marquees on the Las Vegas Strip and the Viva Vision canopy at the Fremont Street Experience honored the late Jerry Lewis Monday night.
The coroner ruled that Lewis died of heart disease.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Friends and performers are remembering Jerry Lewis as a comedy legend who made his mark in Las Vegas.
The 91-year-old died peacefully in his Las Vegas home Sunday, according to his publicist.
Lewis was best known for his work in a comedy duo with Dean Martin and for the Labor Day telethon which raised money for muscular dystrophy. He performed numerous times in Las Vegas.
Female impersonator and star of "Divas Las Vegas" Frank Marino said Lewis' style of comedy was unique and influential.
"He was like the comedian's comedian," Marino said. "He was one of the brightest stars out there."
A former prop handler for Lewis' "Damn Yankee" tour said he'll never forget the impact Lewis had on his life. He met his wife, Amelia, on the tour.
"From my childhood up until my adulthood, he's been a big part of our lives," said Kenny "K2" Keene. "Especially bringing Amelia and I together that can't be replaced by anything."
Keene said he kept in touch with Lewis long after the tour ended.
The news of his death marks the end of an era for comedy fans everywhere.
The Las Vegas High Roller turned green Sunday night in memory of Lewis. Green is the color for Muscular Dystrophy. Lewis helped raise nearly $3 billion for the deadly disease.
