A neighborhood dispute that 13 Action News first told you about a few days ago has escalated.

It began when we received video that showed a 40-year-old man punching his teenage neighbor.

Now, a blue tarp has been erected between the two neighbors.

Sean Pierrot says that he snapped because his neighbor's surveillance camera is pointed at his home and taping his wife and kids. So, he put up the tarp.

Jace Biddle says that he can barely get out of his home because of the tarp and it is an inconveince.

Biddle is the young man who was punched by Pierrot and he says that he and his family want the tarp gone.

Pierot says that he has every right to put a tarp between the two houses and that he cleared it with code enforcement.

According to the city's website, a wall or fence must meet certain height requirements and be built out of specific materials.

Pierrot says the tarp is only temporary though and he was told that it is OK.

He also said that the whole dispute could be easily resolved by his neighbor removing the camera.
