UPDATED: Friends and acquaintances of a 21-year-old Henderson man accused of killing his father are speaking out to Action News.  While it's still unclear what sparked the deadly argument, we are learning more about the relationship between father and son.

Eugene Tshiyombo is described as loving, quiet, and innocent student.

However, he was different than other kids in college, said friends.

We're told his father ran a strict household.  The 21-year-old reportedly could not stay out late even for school events.

ORIGINAL STORY

A 21-year-old man was arrested Monday night in Henderson in connection with the death of his 68-year-old father.

Henderson police responded to a missing person call at a single family residence in the 2400 block of Foxmoore Court, near St. Rose and Paseo Verde parkways Monday afternoon.

When officers arrived at the home, they found the victim, identified as Mbayi Ngenza, and were able to determine the man had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim and his son Eugene Mbayi Tshiyombo had argued Sunday night, Henderson police said.

The investigation identified the son as the suspect and he was arrested on an open murder charge. Tshiyombo is being held at the Henderson Detention Center.

This is the fourth homicide investigated by Henderson Police in 2015.
