A local man says a package thief made off with his mother's Valentine's Day gift.
The whole crime was caught on surveillance video. The man drove up to the house, near Durango Drive and Charleston Boulevard, parked the car and walked up to the front door.
Once at the residence, the thief grabs the box and runs off. Another person is claiming on Facebook that the vehicle the suspect took off in was stolen.
The homeowner says the package was full of Bath and Body Works items for his mom.
