UPDATE: 2 local school buses involved in separate crashes

UPDATE AT 4:55 P.M.

A separate crash involving a Clark County School District Bus happened around 4:28 p.m. Thursday at 2839 Burnham Avenue, near Vegas Valley Drive and Eastern Avenue. 

The bus collided with a double-decker RTC bus. No injuries were reported.

Clark County School District officials say there were 16 Magnet students on board. They do not know which school they were from.

ORIGINAL STORY 

Another Clark County School District school bus was involved in a crash on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. The bus was transporting 15 students from Peterson Academic Center.

The crash happened near the 215 beltway and Durango Drive in southwest Las Vegas.

No injuries have been reported.

There have been multiple incidents involving school buses so far this year.

13 Action News reported on Sept. 11 that 40 incidents had been recorded by CCSD since the beginning of the school year on Aug. 14.

More recent crashes were reported on Sept. 21, Sept. 26, Sept. 28  and Oct. 10.
