If you are in the vicinity of the Hard Rock hotel-casino over the next few days, you may notice an unusually high number of very attractive men and women in very sexy clothing.
That is because the 2016 AVN Awards Show and Adult Entertainment Expo is back in town beginning Wednesday.
More than 500 porn stars are expected to sign autographs and pose for photos during the Adult Entertainment Expo inside of The Joint at the Hard Rock. Some of the elite stars attending include Ron Jeremy, Katie Morgan, Tommy Pistol, Adriana Chechik, Jessica Drake, Farah Abraham, Nikki Benz and Asa Akira.
The AVN Novelty Expo will feature more than 250 exhibitors selling toys, movies, clothing and etc. And those who are interested in the BDSM lifestyle will want to head up to the second floor of The Joint to watch demonstrations of flogging, suspension and other forms of play. There will also be a variety of BDSM merchandise available for purchase.
The annual event also offers various seminars and workshops for those who are looking to expand their knowledge and three big parties at the Hard Rock -- Saints & Sinners at Body English, Porn Star White Party at Vanity, and Lair Fetish Party at Vinyl.
You don't have to be near or inside the Hard Rock though to catch a glimpse of porn stars though.
Several venues will be hosting special parties including the Chateau Rooftop & Nightclub at Paris Las Vegas on Jan. 20; Foxtail Nightclub at SLS Las Vegas on Jan. 21; Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay on Jan. 22; and 1 OAK Nightclub at The Mirage. There are also several private suite parties.
The awards show, which is in its 32nd year, is taking place at the Hard Rock on Jan. 23. The annual awards show is considered the same as the Oscars for the porn world. Awards will be presented in a host of categories including best actor/actress, best movie, best director, and best supporting roles.
Awards are also given for best orgy, best taboo relations, best double penetration scene, best MILF and many others.
The show will be hosted by stars Joanna Angel and Annika Albrite and comedienne Kate Quigley.

The expo is open from 1 to 8 p.m. Jan. 20 through 22 and noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 23. A general admission pass is $80. VIP day passes are $120 and a four-day pass is $300. The private suite party passes are $450 and an all-access four-day pass is $1,500. Prices do not include fees.
