Police seek man accused of robbing female pedestrian

On Thursday around 2:10 p.m., police responded to the 1100 block of Dumont Boulevard, near Sierra Vista Drive and Cambridge Street to investigate a report of a robbery.  
 
Responding officers located an adult female who was the victim of a strong-arm arm robbery while she was walking in the area.
 
The investigation initiated by the South Central Area Command Patrol Investigation Section indicates that the victim was walking in the area of 1100 Dumont Boulevard when she was approached from behind by an unknown male suspect.  
 
The suspect choked the victim, rendering her unconscious, took property from the victim, and fled in an unknown direction.
 
The suspect is described as a black male adult, standing approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 160 pounds, having black hair,  and was last seen wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
