The Las Vegas Paiute Tribe is getting into the medical marijuana industry.
There was a groundbreaking for a new dispensary near downtown Las Vegas on Monday. The tribe is also working on a grow house in North Las Vegas on the Snow Mountain Reservation.
"I think we can create a unique product. I think we can also create a unique dispensary a unique surrounding around that," Chairman Benny Tso said.
Both projects are expected to be completed before the end of the year, and cost around $5 million.
