Homicide detectives determined the man killed was in a physical altercation with two other men prior to the shooting. Arriving patrol officers received information at the scene that the two suspects had arrived in a black pickup truck, which was parked in a nearby parking lot.

Officers located a man, later identified as 30-year-old Michael McNair, who matched the description of one of the suspects. As a result of the investigation, McNair was arrested on a first degree murder charge and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.
