UPDATE 11:45 A.M.: The suspect has been taken into custody. He is facing charges of violating a restraining order, open and gross lewdness, and assault on a protected person, according to police.

ORIGINAL STORY: Las Vegas police received multiple calls around 5:21 a.m. about an adult man in front of a home on the 11000 block of Piedmont Valley Avenue, near Far Hills Avenue and the 215.
The man was naked, yelling, cursing, and masturbating in the garage according to the report.
When police officers arrived the man threw a knife, bottles and other items at them. The man has since locked himself inside the home and is refusing to follow the officers' commands. SWAT and negotiators have been called to the scene.
Neighboring homes have been evacuated and the neighborhood has been closed off as a precaution.
