ORIGINAL STORY

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Lake Mead officials report that a 22-year-old Dylan Robbins is dead after being pulled from the lake Saturday afternoon.

The Lake Mead National Recreation Area Interagency Communication Center, reportedly, received a call from a distressed person in the water in the area of Sail Beach sometime around 12:37 p.m.

Rangers responded to the area, recovered the man and performed CPR but were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at 1:47 p.m.

Boulder City Fire and Mercy Air had also been called to the scene.

The Clark County Coroner determined the cause of death to be accidental drowning.

Robbins' city of residence is unknown.

Officials say that this incident is not related to the disappearance of 22-year-old Wilmer Dante Morales, who went missing on Friday after jumping into the water in what is believed to have been an attempt to retrieve a raft.
