Las Vegas fundraisers for mass shooting victims

The following is a list of local fundraisers for the victims of the mass shooting on Oct. 1. If you would like to submit a fundraiser, send a press release to webmaster@ktnv.com.

A charity bicycle ride will be held to benefit the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. The ride will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. Riders will meet at Huntridge Tavern at 1116 E Charleston Blvd. If unable to attend, organizers ask that you donate to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.

Megadeath will hold a popup benefit at Count's Vamp'd located at 6750 W. Sahara Ave. on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m.

A raffle fundraiser is being held at Naked City Pizza on Paradise (located at 4608 Paradise Rd.) on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. to raise funds for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. Organizers have also started a GoFundMe for Catholic Charities Of Southern Nevada to benefit victims and their families.

La Paloma Funeral Services said they have set up a GoFundMe and are working with local law enforcement to ensure coverage of funeral expenses for victims from in and out of Nevada. Simple Cremation, a sister company of La Paloma, also said it will provide free cremation services for victims of the shooting to their families.

Piero's Italian Cuisine will hold a benefit Thursday, Oct. 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to raise funds for the LVMPD Foundation at 355 Convention Center Dr. To RSVP call 702-545-8777 or email Tom@LetiziaAgency.com.

Galleria at Sunset's Oktoberfest event will continue as planned, now with half of all proceeds benefiting the Las Vegas Victims' Fund. Admission is $20 per person. The event takes place on Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 1300 W Sunset Rd. in Henderson.

Club Tattoo will be offering $50 Las Vegas-theme tattoos from Thursday, Oct. 5 to Monday, Oct. 9 at all four Arizona locations in Tempe, Mesa, and Scottsdale in inside Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops and at the LINQ Hotel and Casino. Atomic Liquors on East Fremont Street is hosting a fundraiser from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Oct. 4 for the victims of the mass shooting and their families. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the cause. They will have a special menu of beer, cocktails and wine, along with some amazing raffle prizes that were generously donated.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin, will now mark its two-year anniversary with a fundraiser for the Las Vegas Shooting Victims’ Fund from 5 p.m. until close on Oct. 4. Pancho’s will match 100 percent of all sales from the evening to a GoFundMe.com account created by County Commissioner Steve Sisolak to support the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is accepting donations for the victims of the mass shooting. All Las Vegas locations are offering a free medium upsize to any customer who donates to the fund. Each Las Vegas location is also offering free 9-inch subs to police officers as a thank you through Oct. 13. 

Stoney's Rockin' Country is hosting a Solidarity Concert with Tony Jackson, Carter Winter, Dylan Schneider, Matt Farris, Justin Holmes, Scotty Alexander, Mark MacKay and more on Oct. 4. Doors open 5 p.m. No admission but donations are encouraged and will be given to the GoFundMe account for Las Vegas victims.

Drai's Las Vegas is planning to donate all proceeds from Oct. 5 to the Las Vegas Victim's Fund. Drai's Nightclub and Drai's After Hours will open at 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. respectively. Tickets and table packages are on sale now and may be purchased at DraisGroup.com.

Freed's Bakery is holding a cupcake fundraiser for Las Vegas victims on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 100 percent of sales from this cupcake fundraiser will go towards supporting the victim's of last night's shooting. You can order vanilla or chocolate cupcakes by the half dozen for just $1.25 each.

RedLine Print Group is producing Las Vegas Love & Support Car Decals/Stickers. There is no fee at all but the business is accepting donations and 100 percent of all money will go to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.

Escape Reality is donating $1 for every guest who enjoys one of their 7 escape rooms.  Funds will benefit Las Vegas Victims' Fund (by Steve Sisolak). Also for the months of October and November, all first responders (up to 6 guests) can play for free.

StedfastTattoo will be offering Las Vegas-themed tattoos priced at $25, $50, $75 and $100 from noon to midnight on Oct. 6. 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the victims of the mass shooting.

XteriousEscape on East Reno Avenue says it will be donating money from their merchandise sales to the victims of the mass shooting. They will also be accepting donations for the victims. 

EoFitness, a health club with 8 locations in Las Vegas, has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the victims of the shooting at the Route 91 music festival. EoFitness will match donations up to $10,000.

AT&T worked with the University Medical Center Foundation (UMCF) to establish a simple text to donate option for wireless customers, both from AT&T and other providers, to help the victims. Customers can text “VEGAS” to 50555 to donate $10 to UMCF. 100% of the donations go directly towards providing on-going support for victims’ medical needs and Nevada’s only Level 1 trauma center.

Any Verizon Wireless customer who would like to help the victims and their families can easily donate to the National Compassion Fund. Created by the National Center for Victims of Crime, The National Compassion Fund collects money for victims of mass casualty crimes and distributes that money directly to the victims and their families. 100% of the funds received through this text-to-donate effort will be distributed to those impacted by the October 1 shooting in Las Vegas. To support the National Compassion Fund, text the word VEGAS to 20222 and $10 will be added to your Verizon Wireless bill upon confirmation with your billing zip code.

Some locally owned Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops will donate 100 percent of proceeds on October 7 to help survivors of lives lost during the horrific shooting on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday. Participating locations include  Ben & Jerry’s at District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson,  Ben & Jerry's inside Sunset Station Hotel & Casino in Henderson, Ben & Jerry’s at Grand Bazaar Shops at Bally’s Las Vegas and Ben & Jerry’s at Harrah’s Las Vegas. All of the participating locations are owned and operated by Georges and Joyce Maalouf, Henderson residents and longtime supporters of local charitable organizations.

Fremont & Friends has created a LAS VEGAS LOVE collection (now available for pre-order). 100 percent of proceeds from sales of merchandise will be donated to the Direct Impact Fund. In addition, Zappos is matching all of the money generated by these products. Cost is $30 each. Bulk purchases available. 

Battle Born Toyotas are hosting a #VegasStrong fundraiser at PDQ, located at 3737 W. Craig Road, starting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6. Cash donations will be accepted on site and items will eb raffled.

South Point hotel-casino, in partnership with Las Vegas headliner Frankie Moreno, will host a special show to benefit the Las Vegas Victim’s GoFundMe campaign on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the benefit show are available for $25 and 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards raising funds to provide relief and financial aid to the victims and families of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Las Vegas shooting.

The Velvet Steamroller is hosting Twilight Yoga in the Park, featuring sunset yoga by T.R.Y, Trauma Recovery Yoga, an art exhibit, picnic, pop up shop, games, and much more. The festivities take place at Craig Ranch Regional Park located at 628 W. Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9. $15 Suggested Donation.
