Neighbors are still searching for answers after a gunman shot and killed a woman, her son and then himself Friday morning.

It happened near Interstate 215 and Warm Springs Road.

On Saturday, Action News learned the female victim's name through a GoFundMe page set-up in the aftermath of her death.  The page identifies her as Jennifer Bagley Donoso. The Clark County coroner identified her son as 8-year-old Lex Donoso.

Donoso and her son were loved by many. The healing process has begun but those who knew the victims say it's going to take some time. The community has already set-up a vigil outside the Donoso's home, and an outpour of support has been ongoing since the tragedy.

"Pray for comfort,” neighbor Kathy Chaires tells Action News. “Comfort for him and his entire family and the siblings and anyone involved in the neighborhood, at this point, because everyone is taking it to heart."

On Friday morning, police responded to reports of gunshots on Hardtack Circle, a cul-de-sac near Warm Springs Road and I-215.  When police arrived, they found a woman dead in her home.  Police were told the gunman was a neighbor in a home just two houses down.

After giving him some time to come out, officers rushed into the home and found the gunman and Donoso's 8-year-old son both dead.

As they continue to investigate the cause of the tragedy, police tell Action News there had been previous problems between the gunman and the woman.

In the meantime, the Donoso family is reaching out for emotional and financial support.  The GoFundMe page raised nearly $3,000 in 24 hours.

"We got to keep our heads up,” says neighbor Alberto Gonzalez. “Keep moving on just a little bit, and we just got a couple angels looking down.”

Donoso leaves behind a husband and two other children.  Neighbors say they know the gunman -- but officials have yet to release his identity.
