A man died after being stabbed overnight.
Police say they received a call at 12:08 a.m. Sunday from a female driver who said her passenger had been shot.
During investigation, police learned the deceased had been involved in a fight earlier at an apartment in 4000 block of Pennwood Avenue near Valley View Boulevard.
Witnesses say the deceased threatened a man with a gun. That man responded by stabbing him multiple times.
At this time, no one has been arrested.
The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased.
This is 47th homicide in Las Vegas area.
