The three suspects who have been charged with killing a Lee's Liquor store clerk during a robbery pled not guilty to murder and other charges, including robbery and kidnapping, during a court appearance in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning.

However, the judge postponed scheduling a trial to give prosecutors time to decide if 22-year-old Ray Charles "Ray Ray" Brown, 22-year-old Lee "Murry" Sykes and his brother, 20-year-old Lee "Dominic Sykes," will face the death penalty.

The trio were indicted by a grand jury last week.

Store clerk Matthew Christensen was shot to death in April. Police believe that Brown was the one who pulled the trigger during the robbery of Christensen's employer.

All three are being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.

Police and prosecutors say that store security video show 24-year-old Christensen saying he can't open the safe before he is shot by Brown.
