Instagram briefly changes to horizontal scroll mode, users revolt

NEVADA (KTNV) — Instagram users made it clear they did not like the new feature the social media giant unveiled early this week.

The social networking service suddenly changed its feed display to a horizontal scroll to advance to the next post instead of the usual vertical scrolling.

Users quickly voiced their outrage over the change and eventually the company returned everything to normal.

Instagram said a bug had caused the sudden change, but it was now fixed.
