The top attorney for Wynn Resorts will be leaving the company this month.

Kim Sinatra will cease to serve as the company's executive vice president, general counsel and secretary on July 15, according to a document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday.

Sinatra has held her position since February 2006. She joined Wynn Resorts in January 2004 as senior vice president and general counsel. Before working for Wynn Resorts, she worked as executive vice president and chief legal officer of Caesars Entertainment from 2000 to 2003.

Sinatra's leaving follows a shakeup at Wynn Resorts this year after CEO Steve Wynn resigned in February following sexual misconduct allegations.
