LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Progressive F.O.R.C.E. (Force Options for Resolving Combative Encounters) Concepts, or PFC, was started 20 years ago by Air Force veteran Steve Krystek as a way to help train military members before they’re deployed, but with the coronavirus, their business has changed.

Krystek said they always offered pre-deployment training and specialized training, but also offer gun classes for civilians. He said with the recent increase in gun sales, they’ve increased their classes for gun training for beginners, hoping to help all of the new gun owners.

“New gun owners may not take safety serious enough and they may handle a firearm in a manner that’s consistent with what they’ve seen in the movies or what they’ve seen on TV,” said Krystek.

PFC is an essential business because of the safety classes, so anyone can come take a class in person, or if they're not comfortable in-person, they can also take a newly created online class.

The company has also been adding both recorded online classes and live, virtual classes.

PFC has multiple locations, including a CrossFit gym in Las Vegas and an 80 acre facility south of Las Vegas.
