Many people headed to Primm on Wednesday to buy tickets for the Mega Millions and Powerball. The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday and Powerball is Saturday.
The jackpot for Mega Millions is now at a record high of an estimated $970 million. The jackpot for Powerball on Saturday is expected to be an estimated $430 million.
Sales of tickets stop approximately one hour before the drawings.
