Las Vegas breaking news for December 8, 2017

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for December 8, 2017.

6:17 P.M.

The Clark County Fire Department  responded to a report of a fire at 3329 South Eastern Avenue, near Desert Inn Road. The fire was successfully knocked down at 6:27 p.m.

There were no injuries reported. Southwest Gas and Nevada Energy were requested to the scene to assist with utilities. The fire is under investigation.

9:25 A.M

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue says that furniture on a patio caught fire in the 5500 block of Desert Spring Road near Cimarron Road. The fire is out. No injuries reported. 

6:45 A.M.

A tree has toppled in the Sunset Pointe Apartments near Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue. It appears there are a couple of cars under the tree. Crews were called to clear the area. Neighbors were without water for a while. Management tells 13 Action News, they're working to restore water by 6 p.m. Friday.

6: 30 A.M.

A vehicle has rolled over near 215 beltway and Windmill. It appears that the driver is OK.
