The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
3:08 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating two vehicles shooting at each other while driving on South Buffalo Drive between West Spring Mountain Road and West Flamingo Road. The incident might have been the result of a hit-and-run collision. Multiple rounds were fired and two vehicles and a house were hit. There were no injuries. South Buffalo Drive will be closed between West Spring Mountain Road and West Flamingo Road while police collect evidence.
3:02 P.M.
Intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne closed because of serious crash involving car and motorcycle. Avoid the area.

North Las Vegas police are on the scene of a fatal crash at Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard. READ MORE. UPDATE Dec. 28: The Clark County coroner said blunt force injuries in this accident killed Billy Charles Burts, 52, of Las Vegas.
1 A.M.
4 people were shot during an after-hours party at the Rex Center inside Boulevard Mall. All victims are expected to survive. No one has been arrested at this time. READ MORE.
