8:09 P.M.
Henderson police are investigating a single-vehicle crash near Cadence Street and Reunion Drive. Six people have been transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Cadence Street is closed while police investigate.
9:29 A.M.
A serious crash with only minor injuries involving a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police vehicle with lights and sirens running at the intersectionof Mountain Vista Street and East Tropicana Avenue has closed westbound traffic on Tropicana until around 1 P.M. Saturday. Anyone attending the game at Sam Boyd Stadium is asked to avoid Tropicana and take Russell Road instead.
4:09 A.M.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police watch commander, one person is dead and another transported to a local hospital in critical condition after a two vehicle crash at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and North Eastern Avenue. Impairment is believed to have been a factor. UPDATE Dec. 28: The Clark County coroner said blunt force injuries in this accident killed Kelvin Flowers, 42, of Las Vegas.
