A 17-year-old girl is dead after being shot in North Las Vegas. She was transported to MountainView Hospital on Tenaya Way where she was pronounced deceased. North Las Vegas Police are talking to the person who drove the girl to the hospital. FULL STORY.

5 A.M.
FATAL CRASH: US-95 at mile marker 96 in Nye County, between Goldfield and Beatty. Commercial tractor/trailer overturned, second vehicle struck tractor/trailer. One confirmed fatality. Both lanes of US-95 currently blocked. Expect delays. @NHPSouthernComm enroute as well.

2 A.M.
Firefighters responded to a fire at 6549 Cedar Waxwing Street around 2 a.m. It was initially reported that someone was trapped inside the burning home near North Decatur Boulevard and 215 beltway. But, that person was able to escape a few minutes later. The home’s roof collapsed a few minutes after firefighters arrived. 4 people apparently lived in the home.
