LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman was apparently in such a hurry for chicken wings that she hit a car several times outside a southwest valley Buffalo Wild Wings while trying to park.
Buffalo Wild Wings hospitality manager, Daniel David Rees said the incident happened on Sunday, Nov. 25 around 1:40 p.m.
"It was football Sunday, we were very busy,' said Rees.
Video provided by Buffalo Wild Wings shows a light colored, possibly gold, Ford Expedition lurch through the parking lot and the driver tries to squeeze the full-size SUV into a spot right in front of the restaurant.
“She couldn't make it the space, so she hit [my car] about three or four times, going forward and backwards and going forward and she pushed my car into the curb, the cinder block and cracked my whole front end," said Rees.
Seconds later, the video shows the woman exit the SUV and she can be seen casually walking into the restaurant.
"She actually came into the restaurant after checking the damage and asked how long it would be for a take-out order,“ explained Rees.
When the cashier told the woman it would be an approximately 10-minute wait, the woman leaves the restaurant.
"She seemed a little bit out of it and she returned to her vehicle and just took off," said Rees.
Las Vegas Police were called, but they did not respond.
“I called the police department and I was very taken aback," said Rees.
"I was surprised, they told me that they cannot come out, they cannot do a police report, because we are on private property," said Rees.
Rees says the incident caused considerable damage to his 2013 Dodge Charger and he had to fork out $1,000 for his insurance deductible.
The woman is approximately 5'4" and weighs 180 pounds with long black hair, according to Rees.
Rees wants to the woman to be held accountable and to pay for the damage to his vehicle.
