A Las Vegas hotel guest says he valeted his rental car and when he went to pick it up, he was told someone had already left with it.

Justin Benoit says he left his rental car, a 2018 BMW, with the valet at the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. When he went to pick up the car, he says he was told someone already picked it up.

"It makes you wonder what exactly went on because they won't show me footage, or nothing like that. So it's just mind-boggling to me, confusing and frustrating at the same time," Benoit said.

We reached out to Caesars Palace. We were told, in part, "we are continuing to investigate". We also asked police why we weren't being shown the surveillance footage. We were told it was poor quality.

As it stands right now, the case is still open. The BMW is still missing, and since Benoit didn't select any additional coverage, he says Enterprise wants to file a claim with his insurance.

We reached out to an attorney to find out what you can do, if you have issues with your rental car. The first thing is check with your insurance, see what it does and doesn't cover. Most rental companies offer a number of protection products. Make sure you buy the loss damage waiver. That basically protects you, so the rental company can't hold you responsible.
