UPDATE JULY 25: Work has appeared to have begun on the wrap project at the Fontainebleau.

ORIGINAL STORY

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The incomplete Fontainebleau Las Vegas could be getting a facelift sometime soon.

Clark County announced that the owners of the resort have submitted plans to wrap the exposed lower portions of the building.

The Fontainebleau was left incomplete after the original owners filed for bankruptcy. It's estimated it would cost more than $1 billion to finish.

It will cost up to $500,000 to wrap the bottom floors of the Fontainebleau.

According to the permit Clark County approved, work must begin within 180 days.
