Police arrest 52-year-old who stabbed, killed man in North Las Vegas

UPDATE DEC. 12: At approximately 6:54 p.m. on Dec. 11, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Pistachio Nut Avenue and Spruce Fern Lane where a man had been stabbed.  Officers found the man laying unresponsive in the street and medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section say that two people were arguing in the street. During this argument, 52-year-old Thomas Cash came out of his home and got into a physical altercation with one of the people.  

Once the altercation began, the victim got involved in the fight and during the struggle, the victim was stabbed by Cash. Detectives arrested Thomas Cash on one count of murder with a deadly weapon and he was transported to the Clark County Detention Center.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police say a man and woman were arguing in the street near Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard on Monday night when an older man who was related to the woman jumped into the argument.

A third man then joined the argument and at some point he was stabbed and died.

Police believe that he was stabbed by the older man. At this point, he has not been arrested.

The Clark County coroner will release the name of the deceased after relatives have been notified.
