Action News and Look Out Kids About team up for pedestrian safety
KTNV Channel 13 Action News and Look Out Kids About are teaming up improve pedestrian safety in our Valley.
The pedestrian safety campaign is called "Be Smart. Be Safe. Be Seen." and was formally announced on Monday, July 9 at Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Several local leaders and community groups were in attendance to show support for the campaign.
Action News and Look Out Kids About invite you sign the pledge to "Be Smart. Be Safe. Be Seen." while on our Valley roadways.

Look Out Kids About is a non-profit organization committed to educating drivers and children in order to prevent pedestrian accidents. You can learn more about their mission by clicking here.

Action News has been fully committed to pedestrian safety since October 2011, when a crosswalk crash left one young girl dead and two other girls injured.
The accident brought to light many crosswalk dangers throughout our Valley. With help from our viewers, Action News has identified dangerous crosswalks and helped raise awareness for pedestrian safety.
