Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Are you a part of a business that wants to send a positive message to the community? We're looking for companies that want to display the "Be Smart. Be Safe." message on marquees, billboards or signs.

As most of us who live in Las Vegas are painfully aware, there is a problem on our streets.  Too many pedestrians are being killed or severely injured.  Sometimes, it’s the fault of a driver.  Sometimes, the pedestrian is to blame.  At Channel 13 Action News, we don’t care who is at fault.  We just want to try and reduce the number of crashes.

We're asking local businesses to help.  If you have a large sign on the street or in your office window, please post this on the sign: BE SMART. BE SAFE. This will let your customers know that you support making our streets safer for everyone. If you do this, please take a picture of your sign and email it to photos@ktnv.com. We’ll share it with our viewers during Action News.

You can also post it on the Action News Facebook page, or send us a Tweet.

Together, we’re all making Las Vegas a better place to live.
